Gracias por visitar esta pagina, mi nombre es Juan Samaniego y he estado en las Academias EJE desde el 2015. He trabajado en diferentes capacidades a través de los años empezando como líder juvenil en el programa de enriquecimiento, después como suplente, y los 5 años anteriores fui el maestro de Historia con el equipo de octavo. Actualmente soy el Coordinador de Escuelas Comunitarias, una iniciativa por parte del estado de California que intenta continuar el trabajo de muchas escuelas en servir a la comunidad. Las Academias EJE empezaron como una escuela comunitaria en los 90's al organizarse como la primer escuela bilingüe en la ciudad de El Cajon. A través de los años la escuela ha agregado programas y servicios para las familias y estudiantes asegurándose de intentar responder a las necesidades de la comunidad. Mi trabajo consiste en seguir esta trayectoria, asegurándome de que la escuela pueda ser un lugar donde las familias se sienten seguras de que les podremos brindar apoyo en cualquier necesidad que pueda surgir.

Thank you for visiting this page, my name is Juan Samaniego and I have been at the EJE Academies since 2015. I have worked in different capacities over the years starting as a youth leader in the enrichment program, then as a substitute, and the 5 past years as the History teacher with the eighth grade team. I am currently the Community Schools Coordinator, an initiative by the state of California that attempts to continue the work of many schools in serving the community. EJE Academies began as a community school in the 90's when it was organized as the first bilingual school in the city of El Cajon. Over the years the school has added programs and services for families and students making sure to try to respond to the needs of the community. My job is to continue this trajectory, ensuring that the school can be a place where families feel confident that we will be able to support them with any needs that may arise.
