Biography

Hello and welcome! My name is Catherine Ingles and I am looking forward to this year at EJEA. I was born in Los Angeles California, but I grew up here in El Cajon. I earned my bachelor's degree in social science with a specialization in history at San Diego State University. I earned my teaching credential and masters in education at the University of San Diego. I am passionate about equitable and inclusive history education. My goal is to support our students as they learn about their communities and the world. 

¡Hola y bienvenidos! Mi nombre es Catherine Ingles y estoy muy emocionada por empezar este año en EJEA. Nací en Los Ángeles pero crecí aquí en El Cajon. Obtuve mi licenciatura en la Universidad Estatal de San Diego en ciencias sociales con emphasis en la historia. Obtuve mi maestría en educación y mi credencial para ser maestra en la Universidad De San Diego. Me apasiona la educación equitativa e inclusiva. Mi meta es apoyar a mis estudiantes mientras aprenden acerca de comunidades y el mundo.
