¡Hola! Mi nombre es Paulina Garduño y este será mi primer año en EJE Academies Soy originaria de Calexico, California, pero me mudé a San Diego hace doce años. Recibí mi licenciatura de la Universidad Estatal de San Diego (SDSU) en Estudios Liberales con Énfasis en Educación Primaria en 2020 y obtuve mi Credencial Bilingüe de Materias Múltiples en la misma escuela el año siguiente. Durante el otoño, continuaré desarollando mi educación al comenzar mi programa de maestría en alfabetización crítica y justicia social en SDSU. Mi objetivo como educadora es cultivar estudiantes con conciencia crítica que tengan las herramientas y los recursos necesarios para realizar cambios dentro de nuestras comunidades. ¡Estoy más que emocionada de conocer a todos mis estudiantes de quinto grado y estoy seguro de que tendremos un año increíble juntos!

Hello! My name is Paulina Garduño and this will be my first year at EJE Academies. I am originally from Calexico, California but moved to San Diego twelve years ago. I received my Bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University in Liberal Studies with an Emphasis in Elementary Education in 2020 and completed my Multiple Subject Bilingual Credential at the same school the following year. During the fall, I will continue to further my education by starting my Master’s program in Critical Literacy and Social Justice at SDSU. My goal as an educator is to cultivate critically conscious students that have the tools and resources needed to make changes within our communities. I am beyond excited to meet all my fifth graders and I am positive that we will have an amazing year together!
