TK and Kindergarten Open Enrollment
2023-2024 Kindergarten and
Transitional Kinder
Intent to Enroll
EJE Academies will begin its open enrollment period from January to February 28th, 2023 for students entering Kinder and Transitional Kinder in August 2023.
Children with siblings attending EJEA and children who reside within the El Cajon area will have priority.
Kindergarten: Filling out an application does not guarantee enrollment in the school. Spaces in the school will be filled by lottery. Any students not selected will be placed on a waiting list.
**** Child must reach the age of 5 by September 1st
Transitional Kinder: If there are enough spaces available to accept all applicants within the February 28th cutoff date then all applicants in that category are accepted.
If there are more applicants than availability, then a Random Lottery will be held.
***Child must reach the age of 5 between the months of September 2nd - April 2nd.
