Welcome! My name is Lauren Pastor, and I am honored to serve as the Director of Special Education at EJE Dual LanguageAcademy. With more than 13 years of experience in public education as a School Psychologist, Special Education Coordinator,and now Director of Special Education, I am passionate about ensuring every student has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive. I earned my Education Specialist (Ed.S.) degree in School Psychology from California State University, Long Beach, hold a Pupil Personnel Services (P.P.S.) Credential, and earned my Administrative Services Credential through the San Diego County Office of Education.
I believe every child deserves to feel valued, included, and supported. As both an educator and a mom of three, I understand the trust families place in their child's school. That is why I believe strong partnerships between families and schools are the foundation of student success. Together, we can celebrate each child's strengths while providing the individualized support they need to reach their fullest potential.
My philosophy is simple: Every student belongs, every family deserves to be heard, and every child can thrive when provided with the right supports, high expectations, and a team that believes in their potential.

¡Bienvenidos! Mi nombre es Lauren Pastor y tengo el honor de servir como Directora de Educación Especial en EJE Dual Language Academy. Cuento con más de 13 años de experiencia en la educación pública como Psicóloga Escolar, Coordinadora de Educación Especial y ahora Directora de Educación Especial. Obtuve mi título de Especialista en Educación (Ed.S.) en Psicología Escolar de California State University, Long Beach, cuento con una Credencial de Servicios al Personal Escolar (P.P.S.) y obtuve mi Credencial de Servicios Administrativos a través de la Oficina de Educación del Condado de San Diego.
Creo que cada estudiante merece sentirse valorado, incluido y apoyado. Como educadora y también mamá de tres hijos, comprendo la confianza que las familias depositan en la escuela de sus hijos. Por eso creo que una sólida colaboración entre la escuela y las familias es la base del éxito estudiantil. Juntos podemos celebrar las fortalezas de cada estudiante mientras brindamos los apoyos individualizados que necesitan para alcanzar su máximo potencial.
Mi filosofía es sencilla: Cada estudiante pertenece, cada familia merece ser escuchada y cada niño puede alcanzar el éxito cuando cuenta con los apoyos adecuados, altas expectativas y un equipo que cree en su potencial.
Espero tener la oportunidad de colaborar con su familia y continuar construyendo un Programa de Educación Especial donde cada Águila tenga la oportunidad de volar alto.
