ENROLLMENT
EJE Elementary Academy welcomes all children and parents. We do not discriminate because of race, color, nationality, ethnic origin or ability in the administration of its educational/admissions policies.
The EJE Academies open-enrollment period is the month of February each year. Spaces in the school will be filled by lottery. Any students not selected will continue on our waiting list. Children with siblings attending EJEA and children who reside within the El Cajon area will have priority.

Kindergarten Enrollment: A child must be five years old by September 1st of the year of entry.
TK Enrollment: A child who turns 4 years old by September 1st, 2026.

Application Procedure:
- Complete the school’s student intent to enroll application form (application does not guarantee enrollment in the school)
- Submit a copy of the child’s birth certificate and up-to-date immunization records, including physical and dental exam.
- Show proof of residency.
Immunizations:
The California School Immunization Law requires that all children receive a series of immunizations before entry into school. The school is required to document proof of the required immunizations and to record this information.
