Welcome Message from the Executive Director

Dear EJEA Families,

Welcome to our new families, and a heartfelt thank you to those who have been part of EJEA since your children began their journey with us in TK. Your trust, advocacy, and partnership continue to shape who we are as a community.

As the new Executive Director since June 2025, it is an honor to serve a school founded on the principles of equity, access, and social justice. EJEA was built by families who believed all children deserve a high-quality, culturally affirming education, and we remain deeply committed to that vision today.

This year marks an important milestone for our school. Through our recent reauthorization and unification, we are now one cohesive TK–8 program, allowing us to better align instruction and supports across all grade levels. In addition, our new partnership with El Dorado Charter SELPA strengthens our ability to serve all learners, ensuring that every student receives the support they need to thrive.

We are unwavering in our commitment to ensuring that every child becomes biliterate, confident, and prepared to succeed in high school and pursue the college and career path of their choice. At EJEA, our students are not only developing strong academic skills—they are being prepared to become the leaders of tomorrow and role models within their communities. We strive to empower them with the knowledge, voice, and confidence to contribute to a more just and inclusive society.
