We ❤️ reconnecting with our EJE alumni! Mr. Kubota’s 2nd-grade class welcomed Helix High School Senior, Daniel Gomez! Daniel had Mr. Kubota as his 4th-grade teacher and stopped by to share about his upcoming graduation and plans to join the Air Force next year. Felicidades, Daniel!
1st graders had a great time visiting UCSD’s campus! Students LOVED the rubber duck races, visiting Sun God, Geisel Library, and learning about the heart, body & mind at Extended Studies.
5th-grade future journalists had a great day at Griffin Radio at Grossmont College They were live on air with the hosts, met with professors and visited the film studio.
Another fun day at SDSU! 3rd-grade students had a Q&A session with an EJE alumnus who graduated from SDSU, spent time in Hardy Hall creating college pennants, enjoyed the soccer field, and toured Viejas Arena.

We are SO proud of our student's hard work on the SBAC! Let's kick off the last week of testing by showing unity and participating in the spirit week. Shout out to our 8th graders who have already completed their tests!
The EJEA Spring Festival was a HIT! This event could not have been possible without the hard work of our new 7-member parent committee, all the donations from our families, and our AMAZING parent liaison.
Students from the Leadership Committee and the EJEA Podcast "Dos Idiomas, un Camino" ventured on to the construction site to meet the team working on the construction of the new middle school building They reviewed blueprints and provided input on accent colors featured inside classrooms. Looking forward to involving more students to be part of this exciting process.
THANK YOU illumina & Partners in College Success (PiCS) for giving 7th grade students in the PiCSTEM program a glimpse into their futures. Students learned about genetics, sequencing the human genome & career options at Illumina.
