Ms. Sanchez has played an integral role in the success of our dual immersion program at EJE Academies for the past 12 years. In her classroom, students are challenged to think critically, explore different perspectives, voices and cultures all while creating a welcoming space for anyone who enter. She also understands that being a teacher leader not only requires building relationships with students, but also their families. Ms. Sanchez has visited over 200 students at their homes because she understands the great impact it makes not only for the students' academic achievement but also for the families to trust and collaborate with her.

For the past years we have been able to celebrate the special bond between father and daughter. Thanks to the Rivas, Trujillo, and Franco's Families for organizing this wonderful event. Thanks to your support this event was an amazing success

On behalf of EJE Academies, we would like to express our gratitude to all EJEA families for supporting our 2018 Fun Run event. We specially would like to thank the EJE's A.L.L. Parent Committee for again organizing another successful FUN RUN event for our children. With your support we were able to raise over $34,000. THANK YOU!!!

The California Charter School Association is honored to award EJE Middle Academy the 2018 Hart Vision Charter School of the Year (South) award for going above and beyond to create personalized dual-language education program unique to each student.

Dear EJE Family,

Along with the rest of the nation, we are deeply saddened with incidents happening across the country in schools due to gun violence. This highlights the critical importance of ensuring that our schools remain safe places for our students and staff.

Here at EJE we are proud of the work that we have done over the past several years in regards to school safety and security. From having School Safety Coordinators to implementing a school-wide safety plan. In addition, we have developed a partnership with El Cajon’s Sergeant for Special Operations Unit. We are working diligently to ensure that students and staff are trained in case of an emergency.

A critical component of our efforts at EJE has also focused on addressing the climate and culture in our schools. This involves addressing not only physical safety, but also the social and emotional safety of our students and staff.

We know that these types of incidents are not just a school issue, but a community issue and we have taken steps to ensure that we have community partnerships in place. We work hand-in-hand with law enforcement and community service agencies to provide our students and families access to different support services.

What a success!

Thank you to Ms. Garcia, Mr. Leon, Ms. Orozco, and Ms. Thompson for putting on a dynamite event on Saturday. Families left with 5 different healthy recipes to try at home. Our students were even asking for seconds!

Can't wait for the next event!
