EJE Academies has been approved by the El Cajon School District for the next five years.

Dear EJE Families,

Welcome Back!! We hope that you had an enjoyable winter break with your loved ones. We are ready, excited, and looking forward to continue working with all of our children. We also would like to take this opportunity to wish all of you a Happy New Year and share information about what we are doing at EJE Academies.

We are happy and grateful to share with you that EJE Academies has been approved by the El Cajon School District for the next five years. With an enrollment of 447 in the Elementary and 167 in the Middle School and over 700 students on the waiting list it is truly an honor to continue to serve this community. In addition, thanks to everyone (parents, staff, and students), EJE Middle has been invited by the California Department of Education to apply for the 2012-2013 Distinguished Schools in California because of it’s academic success. EJE Middle was the only El Cajon middle school and the only Dual Language Middle School in East San Diego County invited to apply.

EJE Elementary is also in the process of preparing for our 2nd WASC visit. WASC stands for Western Association of Schools and Colleges. The WASC accreditation process fosters excellence in elementary, secondary, and adult education by encouraging school improvement. WASC accreditation recognizes schools that meet a level of quality, in accordance with established, research-based WASC criteria.

Thanks to your trust and support we continue to be one of the highest performing schools and the only independent Dual-Language Immersion Elementary and Middle charter schools not only in the El Cajon District, but also in the San Diego County!

We have so much to be proud of as a staff, family, and community.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to work with your children and thanks for choosing EJE Academies for your child’s education, but most importantly, thank you for supporting what we love to do.

We always work to ensure that our students are safe and that our families receive the best possible service. Again, thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you at EJE.

Respectfully,
Ms. Pacheco and Ms. Rivera
