- When

- Where
- EJE Academies
EJE Academies is launching a Going Green Campaign. It has been designed to roll out in several phases.
- Recycling CRV plastic bottles and aluminum cans.
- Recycling paper and cardboard in the school.
- Community; recycle e-waste.
Each student will be given a plastic bag with their assigned day of the week written on it. This bag will be used to bring the CRV plastic bottles or aluminum cans to school. On the assigned day the students will bring in their recycle items, deposit them into the collection bins located near the entry gates and take their plastic bag back home to reuse it.
Our potential and our plan is simple...
Each of us can do a little...together we can do a lot...
- 2,500 items daily (5 items x 500 students)
- 12,500 items weekly (5 days week x 2500 items)
- 50,000 items month (4 weeks x 12,500 items)
- 150,000 items quarter (3 months x 50,000 items)
We will have all phases in place by the 2011-2012 school year.
