1. Recycling CRV plastic bottles and aluminum cans.
2. Recycling paper and cardboard in the school.
3. Community; recycle e-waste.

As we begin this part of recycling we will be teaching your student's the importance of recycling and how it affects the environment around us.

Each student will be given a plastic bag with their assigned day of the week written on it. This bag will be used to bring the CRV plastic bottles or aluminum cans to school. On the assigned day the students will bring in their recycle items, deposit them into the collection bins located near the entry gates and take their plastic bag back home to reuse it.

Our potential and our plan is simple...

Each of us can do a little...together we can do a lot...

• 2,500 items daily            (5 items x 500 students)
• 12,500 items weekly         (5 days week x 2500 items)
• 50,000 items month        (4 weeks x 12,500 items)
• 150,000 items quarter      (3 months x 50,000 items)

We'll collect bottles/cans for about 2-3 months.
We will have all phases in place by the 2011-2012 school year.
