Elizabeth Ewing

"Hello, my name is Elizabeth Martinet Ewing and it is nice to meet you! This is my seventh year at EJE Middle School and 13 year teaching overall.  I am thrilled to be the middle school instructional coach. Teaching reading, writing, and history drive my passion daily. I am excited to be a part of this community and will continue to equip your child with the skills for their future. This is going to be a wonderful year getting to work with all middle school students.

I grew up in the Los Angeles with a wonderful family. I came down to San Diego to attend the University of California San Diego where I received my Bachelor's of Arts in History.  I began my teaching career in Los Angeles after receiving my credential from California State University of Long Beach. I could not stay away from this great city, so I moved back as soon as I could.

I currently live in North County San Diego with my husband, Matt, our son, Declan, and our dog, Brewer. Some of the things I enjoy are: a great cup of coffee, sports (Go Padres: SLAM DIEGO!), spin class and yoga, reading a good book, and spending some time with my friends and family. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your child’s education, I will do my best to help your child succeed. "
