How to Create a Parent Account in Powerschool
Go to https://ballantyne.powerschool.com/public/home.html A parent account allows you to view the information for one or more students with a single sign in. You can also manage your personal account preferences. Please note that students can login with their own account so you don't have to share.
To create a parent/guardian account:
1. Go to PowerSchool
2. Enter the following information:
Username-provided by school
Password-first four letters of the last name (all lowercase)
3. Click Sign In
4. Congratulations!!!!!! You now have access to your students account.
5. Under “Email Notifications” you can set up the following:
You have the option to receive email notifications of summary of current grades and attendance, detailed report showing assignment scores and attendance daily, weekly, every two weeks, or monthly. The default is set to never receive email notifications.
PowerSchool for Parents and PowerSchool for Students apps, are now available for download from the Apple iTunes App Store! With these apps, users will see live attendance, assignments, scores, grades, school announcements, and more, right from their teachers’ grade books.
Cómo crear una cuenta para padres en Powerschool
Hay una nueva forma de como estar al tanto del progreso de sus estudiantes este año! Usted va a querer ir a https://ballantyne.powerschool.com/public/home.html Ocupará una cuenta para cada uno de sus estudiantes.
Para crear una cuenta de padre/tutor:
1. Vaya a PowerSchool
2. Introduzca la siguiente información:
Nombre de usuario proporcionado por la escuela
Contraseña- las primeras cuatro letras del apellido (todo en minúsculas)
3. Haga click en Sign In
4. ¡Felicidades! Ahora tiene acceso a la cuenta de su estudiante.
5. En "Notificaciones por correo electrónico" puede configurar lo siguiente:
Usted tiene la opción de recibir notificaciones por correo electrónico que le proveerá un informe detallado de las calificaciones de cada clase y un resumen de la asistencia escolar de su hijo/a.
Las aplicaciones PowerSchool para Padres y PowerSchool para Estudiantes, están disponibles para descargar en iTunes App Store! Con estas aplicaciones, los usuarios podrán ver tareas, calificaciones, anuncios de la escuela y más.
